The vast majority of the lab equipment listed on www.labtrader.co.nz comes from other New Zealand research laboratories.
The piece of lab equipment is either now owned and held by Lab Trader NZ Ltd OR is being sold by Lab Trader NZ Ltd (through www.labtrader.co.nz) on behalf of a Seller
2: Why are the reasons a piece of equipment is for sale?
- Lab Trader NZ Ltd are onselling it
- The Seller does not use it any longer and wishes to sell it
- It is being liquidated from a closed down research facility

4:Can I trial, test, try or inspect a piece of equipment before buying it?
This depends on what piece of equipment it is and where it is located. The best way to find out is to just contact us on the product page contact form.
For items that can be easily transported and are held at the Lab Trader Ltd Auckland facility, trial periods can be arranged.
For items that Lab Trader Ltd is selling on behalf of a Seller, this is at the discretion of the Seller.
5:Can I rent/ lease a piece of equipment rather than outright purchase it?
Yes. We know that purchasing lab equipment is a big expense for some labs. As such some pieces of equipment for sale on www.labtrader.co.nz are available for rent/ lease. These are typically items which Lab Trader NZ itself owns as opposed to those that we are selling on behalf of a third party Seller. Simply email us if you wish to enter into an rental/leasing arrangement and we can discuss this further.

Some items such as centrifuges, glassware and balances, which can be found on Lab Trader NZ are common to a range of scientific research and testing environments.
